Once again, yet another failed entry for another contest. I'm starting to think I'm cursed with bad luck when it comes to these things... (maybe I should also start a "WAS" gallery as well)

Anyway, this was for round 1 of the Henshin Scramble against

Obviously it looks rushed. A lot of background detail missing, tones (also for bg), the dialogue was rushed... completely winged it in fact since I tossed those in on the same day as the deadline...

Why rushed? I spent 16+ days wracking my brain on how to tell her story/pov on the tourney and at the same time cover whatever plot holes I could think of (which was a lot)... took me that many days to make up my mind -_-

and on the last 2 days, had to whip up about 24 pages of pencil art, rushed inking them, and then scramble about doing the paneling and script. I don't think I've ever drawn that much (or slept less)...

All in all, pencil and inks took about 16 hours, layout another 5 hours, and dialogue/balloons another 6 hours.

And to top it all off, after finishing (6 hours beyond the deadline); my internet died leaving me with no place to go to upload my stuff. T_T

Now nearly a week later, am finally back online to upload this.

Well despite the rushed plot/story, newbish mangaka skillz, and poor dialogue, hope you enjoy the read.
