Description
A "quick" 3-4 hour sketch of Dairyu's character in a new PBEM we're playing. Appearance loosely based on Kagamine Len(?) as requested by the chars player.
As the title suggests it's an RPG based on the ATLA world.
Moving these to scraps once I've done better renditions of the characters, but that's after I've done initial designs of the entire main cast (and a few of the supporting cast).

Earth. Fire. Air. Water.
One century after Avatar Aang ended the War of Fire, the world and its people are still beginning to heal from the scars. Yet while the four nations strive to live once again in harmony, the planet continues to die. Everyone turns to the new Avatar for answers, but the Avatar is nowhere to be found.

Distant as his bow's reach, this young man prefers to keep his mean disposition to himself and instead prefers to take his aunt's teachings to heart. Though also a firebender, his skills have always been said to be nothing more than a fluke. That is the reason he chose the path of the Yu Yan marksman: to prove that even though he is inept with the ways of fire, he remains a highly capable warrior never to be underestimated.
The grandson of a Fire Nation general, his ability to Firebend was discovered at the age of six. After being enrolled in the Academy, he soon dropped out when he and his instructors realized that his firebending was hopeless. His aunt, a skilled bender in her own right, kindly took him under her tutelage to help develop his skills. Although his bending made no progress, she was able to instill in him her teachings and philosophies.
It was also during the stay with his aunt that he discovered his talent for marksmanship. Encouraged by his aunt and her lessons, he himself decided to return to the academy to train in the various use of ranged weapons. It did not take long for him to be recognized for his new talent, and by the time he became fifteen autumns old he was already among the most promising of the Yu Yan.
