Another quick sketch of a main cast character in our Avatar PBEM. This time, character played by Samantha.
Moving these to scraps once I've done better renditions of the characters, but after I've done initial designs of the entire main cast (and a few of the supporting cast).

Earth. Fire. Air. Water.
One century after Avatar Aang ended the War of Fire, the world and its people are still beginning to heal from the scars. Yet while the four nations strive to live once again in harmony, the planet continues to die. Everyone turns to the new Avatar for answers, but the Avatar is nowhere to be found.

Princess of the Northern Water Tribe and eldest child of Chief Shashank, Amaya is graceful, intelligent and a gifted waterbender whose beauty is beyond compare. She would have been the ideal wife for a chieftain, were it not for her fierce desire to change the Northern Water Tribe's patriarchal government system and clutch the chief's crown for herself.
With or without a husband, she vows to become the next Chief of Northern Water Tribe. Amaya is cold, calculating, manipulative, and power-hungry, relentlessly driving herself to unmarred perfection. She is rather vain, abhors incompetence and dislikes being outdone by anyoneespecially males.
She's pretteh! I almost had an Avatar OC named Amaya. She was born a fire nation princess but was given waterbending abilities after being blessed by a Northern Water Tribe priestess. Is she a villain? She sounds a bit like Azula to me.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

"What's in the tea?"
"WATER, BITCH!"
She's a misunderstood protagonist, always struggling to fit in the team because of her villainous attitude.
*mouth agape* XD
